About Us

Partners Against Human Trafficking Stark (PATHS) is a sister member of a large network of coalitions against human trafficking in Northeast Ohio. Cleveland’s Collaborative to End Human Trafficking branched out into the Stark County area in 2007 and established PATHS to better address the need for information and action regarding the growing problem of human trafficking in the United States, in Ohio, and in Stark County.

Goals

The early goals encompassed research and development of educational presentations to bring human trafficking out of the shadows and into the light.

In 2012, when Governor John Kasick from the Ohio Human Trafficking Force, PATHS became the official Stark Coalition. Our partnership with the children’s network continues to aid in helping child victims of human trafficking in the area. We also help adult victims of human trafficking.

Our Mission

Our mission is to educate and advocate for the prevention and abolition of human trafficking while connecting services on behalf of trafficked persons.

When our grandchildren ask us where we were when the voiceless and the vulnerable of our era needed leaders of compassion and purpose. I hope we can say that we showed up, and that WE SHOWED UP ON TIME.
